Palmer became the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in one half of Premier League football against Brighton. The Blues won the game 4-2, and Palmer walked away with the match ball.

As is tradition, his Chelsea team-mates signed the ball, and Lavia left a hilarious message. The former Southampton midfielder came off the bench to make his comeback from injury against the Seagulls.
